Pure knowledge is pure poison to the mind
Pure emotion is pure poison to heart (love)

Educated man becomes all knowledge and no common sense- a walking "bookshelf of a mind," filled with tricky facts and figures.

Can you dispute that?
What say you all?

Understanding is a kind of knowledge, but it is not a knowledge as we know it.
It is called "rhema" or revelation - it is the knowledge that comes from God's enlightening the human mind which are only reserves for His children.

No matter how much power, money, success, and knowledge we attain, we remain but empty husks, glittering replica of the real. We are wealthy failures; educated failures; failures driving Cadillacs, and failures driving wrecks; religious failures and agnostic failure; failure who know it, and failures yet to discover the vain futility of their pursuits. Worse still are the failures who will never find out, and the failures who do not want to find out.

Which one of these failures are you or are you hearing the Father voice?

My sheep hear My voice, a stranger voice will they not hear, you know?

What say you all?

Put a little common sense with knowledge

Nothing is wrong with that statement.

Knowledge encompasses common sense and understanding. You do not need God for understanding since that is an over-reliance on him and that is not a test of character.

Pure knowledge, emotion, etc. is impossible. Don't hurt yourself trying to acheive it.
