I don't believe in the Bible, but for arguments sake lets suppose you get to go to heaven:

You can't win cause no one can lose.
You can't cry cause you are always happy.
You can't help anyone since no one can be in trouble.
You can't be helpful and likeable since no one needs it.
You can't experience accomplishments since obstacles don't exist.
You can't try because you always get what you want.
You can't learn because you do not have less knowledge than anyone except God.

I can go on...

God does not allow sin or evil thoughts to exist in heaven or in your new body. In other words you can't sin because you don't know it.
How can you be happy when you don't know sadness?

Heaven seems odd and inconceivable.
Unrealistic so to say.

I have a tough question comming up shortly so just ponder on this one while I compile the question.

Try to disclaim and of the statements above if you can.

You need to diligently study the Bible in prayer, asking for wisdom, and knowledge, and understanding of the will of God, and the guidance of the Holy Spirit. By the question you have ask, and the answer you gave to your own question. I can honestly say, " If I have to explain this to you, you just would not understand. Not until you have a true understanding of what you are talking about.

God be with you,

i can garauntee you that if you allowed the person of Jesus Christ to change your attitude about life, you will understand what i am about to say.

in heaven,
you can't lose because everyone is a winner.
you don't try because you've already succeeded.
you help yourself to what is good because you can no longer help others from what is bad.
you will be loving and loveable because everyone thrives on it.
you are rewarded for your accomplishments in Christ eternally, therefor you'll never forget to give God praise for it.
there is no need to try because you'll have all you've ever needed.
you'll grow to the stature of Jesus Christ, and the Father will share an intimate walk with His children, therefor you'll always be learning.
God does not allow anything that offends or any practice of iniquity and you will not sin because you wont want to. you'll know God face to face, faith will be lost in sight.
you'll always be happy, happier than you know the word to mean, because you, along with everyone in heaven, including God Himself, will have gone through sadness, and come out on the other side victorious.

i can go on and on...

heaven is not second to this world. imagine the home of someone who loved you so much that He gave His son to die in your place... that is love is it not? heaven will be all that the loving heart of God would desire for you, heaven will be all that the magnificent mind of God would perform for you, heaven will be all that the powerful hand of God could provide for you.

you are indeed right about heaven being inconceivable (it is to our minds), but i can tell you that the most realistic part of heaven is the most realistic part of my life, and that is what Jesus Christ has done for me.

More to the point, how can you be happy in heaven when the cries of eternal torment rise up from your neighbors in hell?

Heaven is a selfish desire.

EDIT: Oh, I love that answer above me. The good ol' fear tactic. Thanks for reminding me why it is you believe what you do - Fear of punishment and the vain, self-important desire for reward. Your emotional intelligence is no better than a child. Basically, your moral reasoning is thus:

"How can I avoid punishment?"

and

"What's in it for me?"

Kohlberg calls this the pre-conventional stage. Most children move beyond this before they hit their tenth year. Evidently, you are a three year old child. Assuming you are an adult, you have either regressed or you never developed beyond the age of about three. Perhaps your religion is holding you back?

isnt the point of heaven for everyone to be equal?
no one is supposed to be better than anyone else.
there are no winners or losers.
no one is supposed to be separated from anyone, or classified as something better.
right?
EDIT: this for the dude that commented on my answer below. since i cant repost an answer i had to add in my comments like this.
first of all its not considered communism bc in a communist country people are CONTROLLED by the government, they are NOT allowed to move freely. for example: giving everyone the same wages. etc
whereas in heaven none of that would exist.
get your facts straight bud. try taking a politics course, bc you really have no idea what you're talking about.

For knowledge about heaven, all we have IS the Bible.

And only a very few have a heavenly future.

(REVELATION 20:4) And I saw thrones, and there were those who sat down on them, and power of judging was given them. Yes, I saw the souls of those executed with the ax for the witness they bore to Jesus and for speaking about God, and those who had worshiped neither the wild beast nor its image and who had not received the mark upon their forehead and upon their hand. And they came to life and ruled as kings with the Christ for a thousand years.

They have a JOB to do there.

How strange a perception of Heaven...but definitely one that makes logical sense, and with a lot of thought into it...

In many ways, Heaven is like a perfect earth. We will have new bodies that will not feel pain, etc...but we will not look the same. (Philippians 3:20-21).

The statement that God does not "allow" sin or evil thoughts in Heaven is, inaccurate, if you're basing this on what the Bible says.

Free will is allowed in Heaven, just like it is on earth.

That's how Lucifer or Satan was "allowed" to rebel, angels were "allowed" to join his army, and angels continued to doubt and disobey God throughout existence.

In Matthew 26:29, Jesus told the disciples that he would drink wine with them again in Heaven, and many parts of the Bible speak of supper or feasts in Heaven.

There are celebrations in Heaven, and rejoicing spurred by different events.

As for not being able to sin because we don't "know" it, we will still have experienced much sin while we were on earth.

However, when we ascend to Heaven, it's like we're being brought to another level. We will still be imperfect, like the angels are, but we will be more perfect than our human lives on earth.

We're not supposed to be able to conceive what Heaven is like. We're not built to comprehend that much. It's just a fact. Though, most humans don't even go as far in their thought as you did - so props.

Many verses in the Bible site God's, Heaven's inhabiter's, sadness (Jeremiah 8:21 is one).

When we first go to Heaven, there will be great mourning - because many of our family and friends will not be there. (Revelation 21:4).

Heaven is about full satisfaction. Earth is about always desiring (and therefore trying to achieve) more.

Have you ever been in a place in your life where you're thoroughly satisfied? Some people have...Heaven will be like that...

You said you can't be helpful or likable; personalities will not cease in Heaven. Each of us will still be unique. Each of us will have a unique purpose - like God's angels do. However, in Heaven, we don't have to be people-pleasers, or likable. Being likable is an admirable trait, but desiring to be likable for the sake of being likable is a shallow human desire that usually gets us nowhere but more shallow places.

And in Heaven, God will walk and live alongside His people.

I can't help but address Hell when talking about Heaven.

While in Heaven we'll walk alongside God, live with God, walk in God's light (literally - He will replace the Sun and the Moon)...

Those in Hell will be separated from God, which is the most painful form of punishment the inhabiters of Hell will experience.

One of the punishments of not following Christ on earth, therefore not going to Heaven, is that God will "blot your name" from the book of life. When all is said and done, and judgment day is complete, those who are banished to Hell will be wiped from existence in the "minds" of those in Heaven.

Revelation 21 says that God will wipe the tears from our eyes, and then there will be no more mourning, for there will be no more death or pain. God will wipe them from all our memories.

As harsh as that sounds, that's why we are able to celebrate while in Heaven. God has relieved the pain of the loss of our loved ones from our hearts.

Whew!

So, there ya go. Take what you will...

That's what I know - to my knowledge - to be true in regards to
