someone told me they were all born of virgins most died and performed miracles and were resurrected and some had 12 deciples. If any of this is true can someone find a source for this that is believable?

Its a myth started many thousands of years BEFORE Xtianity. Catholics stole the myth like everything else.

Horus' mom had been married for years before he was born. She also used her chopped up husband's phallus to impregnate herself. Isis was not a virgin.

I do not know about Attis.

Krishna was the seventh kid of his parents. His mom was not a virgin.


All gods performed miracles. That's what's makes them gods.


Nowhere from credible sources have I found anything about twelve disciples for these three gods.

The modern celebration of Christmas was set to the date commonly used in the Roman Empire for the celebration of Mithras' birth. As Mithras was a SUN god, it was logical to have the celebration of the birth "Sun of Rightiousness" celebrated on the SAME day.

There are even similarities in the stories of where Mithras was born......

look up mithras in wiki. Died for human salvation, resurrected, birthday on Dec. 25, etc..pretty interesting.
