Honestly, I would say that such product is quite NOT SAFE. There are benefits from using it of course and has been approved by FDA. The risks and side effects however seem to be more than its good effects.(Severe adverse reactions including death had been in fact reported.)

For anyone, in dire need of such treatment, all the instructions, warnings, and all the precautions should be strictly followed, only then the safety could be tracked and minimize the possible harms. The use of such should ONLY be considered if the BENEFITS OUTWEIGH THE RISKS. As always, doctor's supervision is needed during the use of such drug.As highlighted in the warnings, "it should only be administered by a physician familiar with venous anatomy and the diagnosis and treatment of conditions affecting the venous system and familiar with proper injection technique".
