Just be yourself and ask him/her questions about him/her self. Don't try to force it, you'll end up heartbroken. Just let it happen naturally and in it's own time, not yours.

I know this is hard to do and easy to say. But, it's proven to work the best.

Try thinking about how the word should be pronounced first. It can be easy to misspell if you are not saying or hearing the word correctly. For example Sed instead of Said. If you are really serious about improving get a small book and write down all the words that you misspell. Hopefully it should help. Otherwise do what I do - use a spell checker!!!

Learn some manners, try to listen instead of talking, learn what that person likes and talk to them about it. Wear clean clothes, freshly showered, mouthwash and don't swear.
