Hello

Even in hypnosis there are many methods that can be used.

For emotional issues it can be very affective.

this is completely dependent upon the practitioner.

i was exposed to hypnotherapy many years ago and as it was such an effective approach, I studied this modality and am now a psychotherapist that solely uses hypnosis/hypnotherapy.

there are a few diagnoses i will not work with, purely because they are hard cases and mostly because, no matter what they say, they really dont want to change. they want a magic pill. i have worked with nearly every diagnosis, however, with amazing successes.

assuming that the client is willing to do the work and wants to change, it is THE most effective of all the psychotherapeutic modalities, in my very experienced opinion.

For some people it can be very helpful, but it's not for everyone. It's a pity that in psychotherapy there's never a one-size-fits-all treatment modality.

I think it is not so useful, as such type of patient needs sympathetic consideration and needs counselling.
