Many of the great ancient civilizations had a calendar of ages. these ages are cycles through which the earth goes, and bring with them profound psychological and cultural changes. In egypt at least, the cycle was compared to a day. It begins at dawn, when the hidden things are revealed, and people start to really become all that they can be. This part of the cycle, the egyptians called the age of the seeker, or borrower. It is this age we are about to move into. Then comes the age of the Wise, which corresponds to midday. this is when people have come to learn many things, but have still not realized all their potential. Then there is the age of the Wiser, when people have reached their fullest potential for wisdom, and have peace for a bit. this is symbolized by the afternoon, and evening. And the comes the age of the Hidden, and night. and with a great crash, people are shaken out of their perfection, and all great knowledge is lost to the masses, except for a few kernels, which are guarded... this last age is the one we're moving out of. It peaked during the middle ages, about the time of the inquisition. The transition between periods does have a bit of unsettlement, but this is to be expected. And things do look a but dark at the moment, but it always seems the way, just before dawn.

This sort of reminds of the book someone wrote in 1986 with the title "87 Reasons Why Jesus Will Return in 1987". An when He did not return in 1987 they changed the title to 88 Reasons......

The Mayans predicted that December 21 2012 would be the last day of the earth. I don't buy into that. They were advanced for their time, but seriously, predicting the future when we can't do that today? Only God knows
