I didn't read all the other answers first...but my concept of Heaven on Earth is choosing to live in the most peaceful mind state as possible. How can one achieve this? By making a conscious effort to be the best person you can...being kind, in fact = practising random acts of kindness. You treat all matters from the heart - putting yourself in the other person's shoes when resolving problems. It's about always being available for your loved ones and treating them with utmost respect. It's seeing the GOOD foremost in all people and all things. It's about approaching everything in life with Love :-)

Heaven on earth is a state of mind. There can be insanity in the view of one person becuase he or she is a drama king or queen, while another person has a totally zen reality becuase he or she lives from a different kind of mind. A still mind creates heaven on earth, so stop moving into the future or past and you will find that suffering goes away! here's some vids by Christine Breese if you want to hear more! http://www.umsonline.org/SpiritualVideoSatsang/VideoFreeSatsangChristineBreese.htm and if you want to read some articles about it, http://www.ucmeta.org/Pages/ArticlesDirectory.htm

This a good question Slave of 12 gods, but like always Christians reply in a Christlike manner. Anyways, I've been told heaven on earth is reaching union with the god of Christianity through prayer. In such a way that you are in union with him as if you were in heaven. A lot of Catholic mystics write about this experience. Other sects might interpret this in another way.

I guess it would be a phrase used to describe something wonderful..
I have always heard it used as "LIKE heaven on earth" which would indicate that heaven isn't actually on earth but IF it were then THIS is what it would be like..
So yes.. I guess you wouldn't understand that since you have no concept of what heaven is like.. and you may not if you believe you have 12 Gods.. or enslaved by 12 disciples or other Gods in which you would never fully understand who the ONE God actually is..
thanks

It's based on the concept of the "World to Come" in the Old Testament. After the end of times/coming of the Messiah, the Lord shall create a kingdom on Earth, the dead shall be risen, and it shall be a heaven on Earth.

Slave, I once read that the original meaning of the English word "heaven" was; state of well being. Doesn't sound like a place does it? Yet these people fall for it everyday. Common sense is definitely uncommon on this one.

A person's time here on earth can be heaven or it can be hell, and ultimately you have control over which it is due to the way in which you live your life. It's all about your frame of mind and the way that you conduct yourself.
