okay so a therapist of mine died..about a year ago i was with him monday thro friday 8am-3pm...adn i just think about him like 24/7 and i cry alot..i;'ve gotten better but i knwo its nto healthy any tips on how to cope better>?

let me add that it was a place i HAD go to may i also add its called "day treatment" he died of a sudden heart attack at the age of 35 and had two young young children

There are no time restrictions when it comes to grieving. I think the best thing you can do is be at peace with being upset and be present with how you feel each day. It sounds like you two were close and that his death was very tragic for you and his family. Take as much time as you need to mourn your friend's death and don't put pressure on yourself to get over it. It will come naturally with time. Hang in there!

Getting a hobby helps. My hubby died in a truck wreck in 2003 and there are days that it takes everything in my spirit to force me out of the bed.
Crying & depression only makes it worse.
I used to volunteer at a hospice for awhile, then I volunteered at the animal shelter. This helped me.
Hurricane Katrina destroyed my home in 2005, hey We survived that!!!
My Mom went blind in May of 2006 & so I've just learned that if I just take it i day at a time, it does get better, I promise!

don't ask serious concerns like that here get another therapist to help through the journey.

I hope you mean that you worked with a therapist not that you were seeing one everyday
