In most states there is a buffer zone as far as a legal age gap for sex partners. Otherwise someone who was 18 could not be with someone who was 17 and 364 days. I believe in most states the gap is about three years, so an 18 year-old can legally have sex with a 16 year-old.

Not really! I mean she WILLINGLY had sex with him. It doesn't matter. I am sure her parents wouldn't file charges. There are plenty of other girls out there who have gotten pregnant at 13 and nothing happens to those fathers. Hopefully, he will step up and be a man and take care of it. The only way that he can get in trouble is if her parents file the charges which I doubt they will. Also, I can't believe she is actually pregnant.

Not unless her parents file charges against him. It seems to have been consensual.
They didn't have a problem with her dating a 19 year old being that she was only 16 so they shouldn't have a problem with her getting pregnant for a 19 year old. They have issues the whole family. Just look at her role model Brittney.

That shouldn't even be in the news. There are 13- and 14-year-olds getting pregnant every day, and they don't make the news.

well has he admitted he is the father? if he has then they can charge him ...and if he later denies he is the father they must wait for the baby to be born to get DNA proof showing he is the father and did inpregnate a 16y/o girl. depends what state they live in as well...some states have lower consent ages
