whenever i have my period, there are two bumps that start to get really itchy... what could be causing this?
it started about a year ago, i have my period, and an itchy swelling, like an insect bite appeared in my buttcheek. i put menthol balm in it, thinking it was an insect bite... then after the period, the itch subsided, but a dark scar was left. then after a few months another itchy swelling/ rash appeared at the spot of my tailbone, before the butt crack...
i observed that it is related to my menstruation, as it is the only moment that they itch really bad (a burning itch).
i've been having them for a long time already... i also noticed that they get even more severe when it is hot and i'm sweating, what could this be? help. i am really bothered with it. it is so unaattractive too.

Sounds like herpes:

Some very common triggers are a weakened immune system, the presence of very strong emotions such as fear, persistent anxiety and emotional stress, in some cases an over exposure to sunlight or heat is also a common trigger depending on the individual. **Menstruation in women can promote recurrences of infection in a cyclic fashion.**

It could be a heat rash. Do you wear pads or tampons when you have a period?? You could be getting an abrasion from the pad. The bloating could be making your pants tighter.

If it's bad, go see your doctor and ask then to check it out.

sounds like you may have some kind of bacterial infection. go see a doctor. My kids had something that sounds like that except it was more of a pain than an itch. But they were prescribed bactrim. If the doctor cant figure out what is wrong, you may need to have him/her give you a referral to see an infectious disease expert.

Go to a FREAKING professional.

ORRRRRRR...........

Have you ever been abducted by aliens????

Check for holes drilled in your body especially near your butt crack.

You may want to take regular baths while adding hydrogen peroxide to the bath water.

Then lock your windows at night. Cover the affected area surrounding your buttcrack so it cannot be detected by future aliens. Always keep fresh batteries and a flashlight near your bed at night.

Why don't you just ask someone qualified to give you an accurate answer, like a doctor?
