I am the same guy who posted the "Does anyone have a manual for a C-something Sanyo TV" question and I have the same problem.
I got an RF modulator today for my TV because its really old and I want it to connect to my PS2 and Wii.
I connected it all up properly, tuned in all the channels to show the best picture possible and followed the instructions. I got a very shaky picture, shaky sound and whenever I make someone move, it becomes worse.
Here are some other details:
- The modulator I've got is a "S 9233A AV to RF Modulator".
- I had it on AV
- It comes with an in-built antenna booster
- Supports PAL
- I have a PAL PS2
- I had the antenna booster plugged in and on full power
- I had the TV before and my PS2 worked fine on it, but I had to plug it through a video player.
Does anyone know what I'm doing wrong? Should I get a stronger RF modulator? Do I have to get a video player?
Please, help me!!!

you don't really need to boost the signal from the ps2. The distance is so short, it should be OK as is.
Do make sure the RF modulator is powered on and that in your RF cable signal and ground are properly separated.
To me it looks more like a bad RF cable or bad connection.

you in all probability have a television with a coaxial connector. the respond on your question is "definite, your television is purely too old on your ps2." yet a minimum of you have a coaxial connector and would play till you get a various television. you are able to seem for sales top now. because of the fact televisions would be switching to new technologies in February of 2008, there could be many on the industry top now - extremely low-value. seem for one with the AV plugs (purple, white, and yellow plugs contained in the decrease back). relatively if there is one with AV plugs contained in the front it quite is much greater efficient for you! solid success!
