Well if you like the girl and want to get to know her, smile at her or make some other friendly gesture. By doing this, you are showing that you are interested in her too and that you dont mind her looking at you. If you keep a plain face, the girl will probably feel embarassed and not want to talk to you in fear of looking stupid.

you should just...SMILE!!! WAVE!!! SAY HI!!!! they'll like you way better because you won't just ignore them and maybe talk to you more...thats what happens wen i meet a new dude and they come up to me smiling and talkative...don't act like a retard though!!! that would be creepy. having someone smile WAAAAYYY TOO BIG!!!
