I recently found out my girlfriend is a crystal meth addict. So I called her father as I figured the family needed to know that she is destroying herself.
He didn't believe me, and accused me of making it up, being a druggie myself and told me if I called him again he would call the police on me for harrassment.
Is there anything left for me to do?

i think it is sad that he wouldn't at least take it into consideration denial is common from both the addict and the family at first and sometimes it takes hitting rock bottom from both sides to finally see it maybe you could talk to her and suggest that you both go to rehab sounds like you both need it i wish you all the best and hope that you can find the strength to get help for both of you

You put the bug in their ear! Even though he didn't want to believe it at the time, he'll be watching her more closely. You on the other hand may have just made your own exit out of her life! Meth is a vicious animal. Destroying is the proper word! Even if there's nothing more to do, you chose the right thing. It may get worse, before it gets better. I pray for every addict every night, because recovering addicts did the same for myself.

she would be in a place to't merely get a restraining order against you. She has to have a reason to ensure that a prefer to difficulty the restraining order. maximum meth addicts won't willingly placed themselves in touch with the courtroom gadget/regulation enforcement. i think of she is merely bluffing, yet notwithstanding if she did attempt to have an order issued- so what? She desires help. enable her kin comprehend, for that rely enable regulation enforcement comprehend. maximum meth addicts do not look for therapy until eventually while they have been arrested and ordered to attend therapy by potential of the courtroom gadget. Even then meth habit restoration is amazingly perplexing. A drug like meth is so insideous you have not any time to waste!

You can take it the the school counselor and they may be able to do something. The parents must be pretty lame not to know when the child is on drugs. You may feel bad doing something about it now, but later all will thank you. good luck.

I called my ex's parents when I was a teenger and his mom didnt believe me. I broke up with the boyfriend soon after. She obviously realizes it now, since he's been arrested for selling drugs and is a known heroin addict. At least now she knows I was right!

well, this is a tough situation if you dont want her to destroy herself. maybe you both can quit together, because since you admit youre a drug addict yourself, maybe you are ready for help too. speed is a baaaad drug to get into. probably the worst. i dont know if thats your cup of tea also, but if you love her, or even care about her help her quit. i've lost people speed, not just mentally, but physically too. just be careful and decide if you want to quit and help her quit. you cared enough to want to tell her parents, so i know you have to care about her.
edit - i see what you were talking about, im sorry i misread your question. chances are he already knows, he is just in denial.

Call the police yourself, and then dump her. She is a disaster which has found a place to happen; you don't need that kind of grief.

lemme get this straight....
your dating a chick on meth
what are you?!?!? On crack?
Well if her father is that far in denial about his daughters life....
then to hell with him, you did your part, if you want you should get proffessional help for her maybe convince her to go to rehab or something
