"The path to love isn't a choice, for all of us must find out who we are. This is our spiritual destiny. The path can be postponed; you can lose faith in it or even despair that love exists. None of that is permanent; only the path is."
"Love is the beginning of the journey, its end, and the journey itself."
-Deepak Chopra

Does this help?
"Love is the way messengers
From the mystery tell us things."

With moments of trust and knowing that inside every man, there is a shining light that we call love. With moments of despair that it is probably not so, and even if it is, that core of love is hidden so deep that the person himself is not able to even recognise it. And moments of compassion towards those people and again, clear knowledge, that inside, we are one, a light that is otherwise called love.
As for being called a fool for love: I don't know that there's a better compliment than this. Good for you, Deepak! By the way, Deepak comes from the word *light*.

There is nothing which is not the Beloved and there is nowhere where the Beloved is not to be found.
The Beloved shines in the eyes of our loved ones and in those of the beast lying in wait in the alley.
ALL things are the Beloved.
The only path is the path to the realisation of that one truth.
It is the path of the Beloved seeking the Beloved.
Not here . . .
Not here . . .
Ah! Here we are. In plain view all the time.
(While people may not agree with Deepak Chopra, there is no denying that he is a highly intelligent doctor and medical consultant, working in a most difficult field.
To call such a man an idiot is to demean oneself).

Apparently in ignorance...thought I was loving, defined love myself, prided myself on love as the way. But I didn't have a clue. Even was misled by what "the path" was/is. Words are ladders AND stumbling blocks. Words point to concepts, but are not the thing itself. We already are...or are not. What I "know" is "path"-etic (knowing stifles being). What I am is em-"path"-ic (connected as one to the One) and "path"-ologic (trapped in intellect, or wandering cluelessly). The path is NOW. and NOW, and NOW. I am pathetically, empathically, and pathologically Sirius. How can one "unthink" the thinker? Or "un-be" the be-er? It is what it is. Let Light ignite Love on the pathless path. I am Sirius

The best that I could, learning as I went from both my mistakes & successes, as well as learning from others. Is is not the journey that teaches us? Love is what I am, Love is what I want to manifest, so Love is what I Be.
Blessings.

Still walking.
It's a never ending journey.
Because the journey itself is the destination.
And you have to reach nowhere.
You just have to be.
Have to be LOVE!

That's quite possible, but Chopra is an idiot. A very rich idiot, not all that different from Brittany Spears.

Love has no path as it is everywhere and everything, so if there be a path, then it is within one's perception.
