I'm so bowled over by Jamie Lynn Spear's pregnancy I just had to ask this question. I'm floored by the number of young girls in society today after ALL the education and ALL the warnings about sex, it seems none of you heard it or care, and many of you are turning out welfare-riddled babies every day.

How many of you high school (and for pete's sake middle school) girls really understand sex? Do all of you know that once you get your period you CAN get pregnant? Do you realize that a horny boy is like a drunk boy? They will tell you ANYTHING to get into your pants, and then dump you when they find out you're pregnant.

Do you girls have a full understanding about what sex is, and how it only takes ONCE to get pregnant? Are you going to look up to Jamie Lynn now and want to get pregnant too?? This terrifies me as it seems sex is taken so lightly among young girls today.

To be honest. Most girls are brought up faster thanks to the media hype and their surroundings. Girls are more aware about their surroundings, but some of them are just incapable to handle situation like these.

On the other hand, guys should help and not take advantage on their feelings as girls are much more sensitive than guys. Actually, there's much to be learn for both boys and girls.

Another things is about our culture and value. Having ones freedom surely doesn't mean that you can do as you wish.

Good to hear from someone like you crying out loud on this issue. And Merry Christmas.

i understand sex and all that good stuff.

i don't look up to jamie lynn, never have. why would i look up to someone that is the same age as me?

the problem is that schools and churches spend more time preaching abstanance than teaching preteens and teens what to do to prevent pregnancy or catching things.

little girls don't have their own minds and make their own choices anymore, they just go along with what everyone else is doing. the nation's youth is seriously effed up and britney and her sis jamie lynn have done nothing to help the situation.

oh wow... i feel the exact same way... Jamie Lynn is following in her sisters footsteps, though she is much much younger. i almost feel bad for her. but she's also supposed to be a role model beings that she has that nickelodean show... girls that look up to her, thats fine cuz i'm sure she's not a horrible person, but seriously, you girls who want to be like her, don't mess your lives up like she did. its just not right.
