At basic, you have to get a high and tight. After that you have some leeway.

they shave it all one length at the beginning of basic. After 6 weeks, they give you the option of getting a high and tight or shaving it again. Those are your only options during training.

you get it cut an 1/8 of an inch and when you get to your new comand it is up to you to Keep it reg
