I am just about to finish the campaign mode, and look forward to going online pretty soon.

I'd say finish the campaign mode first to get some practice in before going against online players. They're faster, smarter, sneakier, and stronger than the AI in the campaign mode. You'll want to be prepared so you can rack up the XP quicker once you're online.

Campaign mode is like a boot camp before online battles. ;-)

It won't matter.... the campaign is just like online.... but online players shoot back faster.. and camp out in dark corners.
I did a bit of this and a bit of that.... dam good game!

If you start online first you may never get to campaign..........that's how good it is!

well it sounds like you got a pretty good idea of COD4 i mean if you were just begging you should but now i dont think it matters
