Me and my friend want to stay together while we are in the army.
is this possible or can we only stay together through out boot camp?

Be careful, though.
My brother and his best friend did this and my brother bot injured in basic and got medically discharged, so his buddy got to do do the whole thing on his own. It must have worked out OK; he did 12 years and got out a SSG.

Under the buddy system, you ca stay together through your first duty station, but you have to pick the same MOS and follow-on training (if any).

Yes you can stay together for your first tour (enlistment)
