Yes they are bad for teenagers, and are also bad for adults when consumed in excess or with dehydrating alcohol. I had a bad experience when I drank several Monster drinks in one day (while I was driving a long distance and was exhausted from working beforehand.) I was jittery and actually got a rash that lasted for a few days. Also, I crashed really hard once the caffeine wore off and had a horrible headache. It was definitely not worth it. Please drink these energy drinks in moderation, if you drink them at all.
