Depends what kind of glass you're using. Some uses the real glass jar while some uses the plastic jar. It also depends on the location of the jar, types of candle, materials around the jar and local weather. But don't take any risk. Have a jar with taller in size than your candle might solve the problem.

Not likely, but it is never a good idea to leave a candle burning when you are gone or sleeping. If there is something above the candle that could catch fire, yes, it concievably could burn down your house.

i know a couple of people who had the candle crack and the flames flared up.
i don't allow any candles in my house

just keep it away from sh*t and make sure if u have a cat u dont have it where they will go near it if ur not in the room then u should be fine
