Ok Im sorry homemade tomato sauce recipes??

Please give us a little hint. Are you looking for a sauce for on ice cream or meat or veggies or what type? There are just too many different types out there for us to just type in recipes not knowing if we're even in the ballpark of answering your question.

OK! Here's our family's recipe for Home Made Tomato Sauce. I've been making it with first my mother and grandmother and now by myself for about 50 years!

1/2 bushel tomatoes (about 26 pounds)
6 garlic cloves
6 medium yellow onions - chopped
1 cup chopped fresh parsley
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup salt
3 Tbs. oregano leaves
2 Tbs. basil
1 tsp. black pepper

Cut stem ends from tomatoes and cut into chunks. Cook until soft. Puree tomatoes and return to saucepot. Add onions and balance of ingredients. Bring to a boil then simmer uncovered until reduced by half (about 4 hours). Ladle into hot jars for preserving or freezer containers. Makes about 10 pints.

1.5 lb. ground beef
1 medium onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic
12 oz. tomato paste
4 large peeled and core tomatoes
1 tbs sugar
1 tbs oregano (more to taste)
1 tbs parsley (more to taste)

Brown the meat, 1 minced clove garlic and half the onion in fry pan. Drain fat from the mix in a colander.

Combine 4 tomatoes and paste in a blender and blend until totally mixed.

Combine tomato mix and meat in large sauce pan and add oregano, parsley another minced and one whole clove of garlic. Simmer for 1-2 hours. Be sure to stir occasionally. Jar sauce may be needed to thin sauce. add to taste.
