If God is such a forgiving God, and has a heart, and all this. Then how can he POSSIBLY be SO cruel as to condemn someone to burn for eternity??

For anyone following up, I am just proving a point. Thanks for all who participated, this has nothing to do with my beliefs.

Because GOD has been so loving to give his own son to redeem you from that.
And if you even turn down that gift he just lets your fry.
Wouldnt you do the same?

If there were no such thing as rules, laws, retribution, why would anyone keep the law. If a person knew they would suffer no penalty for breaking the law, we would have MUCH more crime than we presently do. The guy that shot and killed those school kids-should the law just say "bad boy, don't do that again" Or should there be a penalty for doing so? If someone breaks the law by stealing your car, are you going to be like "oh well, that's just the way it goes, I guess I'll buy another one" Or, are you going to report it, hope the person gets caught, and take action from there.? Many of our laws/rules are the same as those as Gods. God IS forgiving. That's why Jesus went to the cross--to forgive our sins. It's up to us to trust, believe in, praise, thank Him for our salvation, and live accordingly. Please, read the Bible and see what I mean.

The churches, or King James put that in to scare people into supporting the church and being good little subjects to the king.

Heaven and hell doesn't last forever. They're in between reincarnations (another belief that the King and the churches left out). If you've had positive experiences in life, you think about these in the afterlife and it could be said that your in heaven and vice versa. But your whole life is gone through like a movie which some people get a glimpse of very quickly when they come close to death.

When the balance of good or bad starts to make a balance with it's other half of good or bad a person continues beyond that balance and the force of the imbalance forces consciousness into another human body (since any lower life form below that of a human isn't evolved enough to handle a fully evolved human consciousness).

You have the question backwards.

Why would anyone want to "burn for eternity" when God is such a forgiving God and offers them forgiveness of their sins?

Hope that helps.

Sista...God is very forgiving. For one thing you living. Anyways going back to what you asked...God does not send you to hell forced. You chose to do so. Life is a very important time because that is when choose to either except a great God and follow Him and reciece his great promises or reject his great gift and follow your own desires and lusts. No one is forced to hell just like no one is forced to heaven. YOU make the decision to either have eternal life or eternal death. For example, lets say a person murders first degree. No one forced him to kill that person. He made the choice to get life or the death penaly. He chose what he chose. No one forced him. He chose his own way by murdering Same thing with people. We choose where we want to go. He isnt cruel...we are cruel for going our own ways and not following a great God because all he wants is the best for us and He created us because he loved us and even though he knew we wold fall he still loved us and still wanted to make us because he wanted us to enjoy the precious and gorgeous home he has provided. So we make our own decisions. He gives us the freedom of choice.

Maybe you should read the Bible more and listen to critics less. The lake of fire was created for Lucifer and his fallen angels. Those who are not believers in Jesus face separation from God, something that has been explained to be a feeling worse than anything man can comprehend. God is love, ( true love, not sex or superficial love ) God is all that is good, separation from God is separation from all that is good.

God be with you,
William, a bond-servant of Jesus

P.S. The choice is yours, God condemns on one to anything. You make up your own mind where you want to spend eternity.

Read Corinthians Chap 13 wherever you see Love replace it with the word God and replace it(s) with Him or His respectively and you will learn of God's true nature. God is Love. Love is the most powerful force in the universe! The burn in Hell thing is not as one may think. Try the website below it may help.

God is forgiving- however because He is God there has to be payment for sin. That payment was paid in full by Jesus Christ on the cross- however not everyone will be forgiven and not everyone will not be in heaven- and you ask why- because some people refuse to admit that they are a sinner, and confess and repent of their sin, and accept Christ as their Savior.
THE WAGES OF SIN IS DEATH, BUT THE GIFT OF GOD IS ETERNAL LIFE THROUGH JESUS CHRIST OUR LORD. That is how much God loves us, but you cannot receive a gift that you do not take. Does this help?

God gave man the freedom of choice. So, if someone burns in hell it is their choice.

God is forgiving. someone can go against God over and over again, and each time this person makes his/her way back to God and asks for forgiveness, God like a parent with unconditional love, is quick to forgive.

This is just religious nonsense.

God is unconditionally loving. God never needs to forgive anything because She never judges us in the first place so there is nothing to forgive.

Love and blessings Don

Sigh, If you are going to be a critic, know what you are criticizing.

In the christian faith, damnation was the natural condition due to the sins of Adam and Eve. They had free will and chose to listen to Satan instead of God.

In order to make up for it, a system of sacrifices was created to amend for the sin. But people didn't do it.

So Jesus come to earth and dies for the sins of the world. Any who believe are saved.

So, God does not condemn people to hell. People send themselves to Hell.

Jesus is a life boat, you can choose to get in or stay out.
