Is there any way to "doctor" this, so my cookies don't taste acidic.

I assume you've already mixed your wet and dry ingredients together. If not, obviously the answer is to remeasure all of your dry ingredients. The other answer is to triple all the other ingredients, since 3 (not four) teaspoons equal one tablespoon. If you leave your dough as is, I don't think it will taste acidic as much as it will rise (and fall) too much.

They won't taste acidic, baking soda is a base. They might be a bit salty though, 1 tbs is 4 tsp, you might quadrupedal the recipe, other than that I don't know good luck

No, I think you're out of luck -- it'll throw off all the other ingredients and flavors.

it will be ok........i use the palm of my hand and guesstamate half the time, everyone i know always says what a wonderful cook i am.......lol if they only knew i just threw things together, stir it a bit, and heat it up.......lol
