my husband is in the airforce, and was asked to be in the honor guard today. He has to give his answer by tomorrow, and we dont really no too much about it. I do know that he will not get deployed for one whole year, and I know that it looks great on your record...especially if you are trying for senior airman below the zone!

So, should he do it?

This could be something like participating in a Veteran's funeral.

What does he get out of it. Nothing! Except the knowledge that he did something good, something he could be proud of. other than that, nothing. But wouldn't it be worth it???
