ps3 disk noise?

my ps3 is making weird disk noises every time i start a game and i am really worried because when i bought my ps3 this summer it did not make any noises. should i be worried? thanks.

have you checked the fan.also go sonys ps3 web site and there you will find trouble shooting tips..my xbox started making that noise,i took it in for repair and they said it was very dusty.they cleaned it and the sound went away.
