We get nervous because we want to be as perfect as we can around those that we like and don't want to do something that makes us look incredibly stupid (saying the wrong thing, disgusting habits, etc.)

Obviously because we like that person and dont want to look dumb in front of them we want them to get the best impression of us and maybe possibly return those feelings

Your are most likely to worry your image. It's something that you wold like the person you like to think about you in a good way thing. It's perfectly normal.

Because we don't want to do anything stupid, we just want to be cool but we always do stupid things any way to impress the person we like.
