I recently answered a question and came up with a question of my own.
If you died today, or anytime soon while you hold your currret beliefs, without a boring sermon, would you be burning tomorrow, flying around as an angel, living on a paradise earth, ruling your own universe? Or what religion would you rather have been? A muslim perhaps, and why?
I would feel sorry for some of you people who believe in a burning hell and think you are going to burn in it because of some unforgiveable sin you committed. Your religion has done you no justice if that's the case. I don't personally know of a religion that doesn't realise the extent of God's forgiveness and of course the ultimate sacrifice he made, that of his Son, in order for us to be given forgiveness. Not by anything you physically can do will earn you forgiveness, only by understanding and accepting Jesus sacrifice. Sorry for getting off track, but if anyone wants to discuss that further, email me.

I am the Church where I am going. Christ reigns in my heart. I need not "religion", for Christ did not come to establish "religion", He came to set the captives free from "religion". His True Church and Temple is not made of stone. His True Church is wall-less, for "church" means "a Body of Believers"... it is a PEOPLE.

If I die today, my beliefs say that I will review my life, rest for a while in peace, and then find a place and a way to be incarnated so as to keep interacting with those I love.
I do not believe, and cannot believe, that the Ultimate Love that touched me and transformed me when I took initiation, this Love that is far greater than any name, can condemn anyone to existence in pain or misery for simply not following a particular path to that Love, or calling it by a particular name.
I have loved without fear, and committed what Christians will call sins but for love, and with love, and I know that the love of my God and Goddess will not fail me, nor ever leave me.
I would only that others were so sure, and could cease tormenting others and themselves.

Hinduism? Buddhism? Judaism? Have you heard of those? :P

Really? You're sure Jesus is one to bet your *eternity* on? You're sure the Musilms aren't right? Can you prove it? :D

No one knows or has the only correct way of being. All religions are wrong in their own ways and all have something valuable to offer. Just b/c a person doesn't believe in Jesus doesn't mean they are going to "burn in hell." I don't believe hell exists period. It really peeves me that people assume they know what "god" is or that they can say for sure that a god exists. And that they claim to know what "god" wants. You cannot possibly know any of those things. IF a god does exist I'm pretty sure it's like nothing any human or any book has ever spoke of.

I don't believe in a "god", nor do I believe in heaven, nor hell, nor angels. No paradise or torture awaits me.
I believe my body will be cremated and buried with my Mom, Dad and brother. Nothing more.
I guess an afterlife would be my molecules and atoms being recycled into fetilizer for the plants around me.

Personally I am not convinced that any religion truly follows God's lead. They all strive to prove they are IT. Why does one need to belong to a religion to believe in God? why does one need to attend church?
Can one not simply do their best to adhere to the commandments?

What the heck!!!! That's one long as* question!
I am atheist and when I die (just like everybody else, whether you want to believe it or not) I will simply stop living!
Like sleeping without the waking part!
I am not afraid to die.
