im 17 years old and i see all my friends with their girlfriends and i want to experience what they experience i just want someone to love. And they do the same in return why and i wish that a doctor or something could tell me why i so damn obssessed with love.

I have no idea who, and I'm probably butchering this quote, but I remember hearing or reading somewhere that a man hungering for love destroys everything lovable about himself.

You already answered the question!! Everyone around you has a girlfriend or boyfriend and your feeling left out especially if they are some close friends that you USED to hang out with but now they have significant others

Anyway, it is probably because your motives for getting a girlfriend is genuine. Nothing for fun or anything. But because you have those motives, your personality probably isn't the one that stands out right away with girls...so you do not find love, and so you continue to obsess over it?
