Who are you to tell the millions of us Catholics that our spiritual leader and the head of our Church shouldn't even exist? And yes, the majority of those same millions of Catholics *do* care very much about what the Pope has to say.

Even if you are not Catholic, or a Christian, you must acknowledge his importance as a moral and spiritual leader AND as the most recognized authority figure on earth.

Read the book of Matthew. It tells where the papacy started.
