Where can I find dental floss wands in the UK?

They are described under the 'use section of this wikipedia article http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dental_floss

But when i search for them in ebay or amazon i get no results. Maybe they are called something else. Googling the answer gives references to oral b flossettes but seem to all be reviews with no where to buy them. A review I read suggested the oral b ones were expensive and that alternatives were cheaper. Where can I find them?

They must exist on ebay or amazon somewhere!

If you don't floss often enough your gums become very irritated and will bleed when you do floss, so keep flossing every night with dental floss and the bleeding should stop, also you may actually be flossing too hard so may want to soften up on that, and your not always going to see the plaque you are getting so don't stop flossing because you don't see anything Keep Flossing

If you were in the US, this would be no problem, but I don't know if they're readily available in the UK. You should be able to order them online at cvs.com or walgreens.com. I'd order enough for a year, as you're going to have to pay a hefty shipping charge.

I am just trying also to figure out what you are searching for would that perhaps be those packages in the drugstores etc. I believe the dollar stores carry them as well.

Walmart or Walgreens. Take a picture with you and if you can not find them ask the pharmacy and they may be able to help you further. My brother uses the disposable ones and he gets them from walmart. Take care.

Do you have a drug store close by? I get them at drug stores or discount stores, like Wal-Mart (in the US).
