I trust your boyfriend. you need to appear wonderful! human beings tend to cease assuming you're pregnant while you're over 35 or so. i will merely desire to look youthful sufficient that somebody thinks i'm pregnant at 50! yet yeah, this is not inevitably flattering to have human beings think of your physique shape is pregnant. different than... a great style of human beings think of of the "pregnant seem" as a advantageous shape with somewhat bump in front. So even that may not be so undesirable. a lot human beings have somewhat cushion right here or there; in line with risk you have some placed "merely precise". I say seem on the valuable side and take the extreme street. Be flattered. If it somewhat maintains to get to you, you need to grin and thank them until eventually now asserting something like "Oh, that's candy yet i'm very very nearly previous the newborn-degree now". The smile will make you sense greater effectual, and the guy you're saying it to (even although feeling embarrassed) would be grateful which you're gracious besides as alluring.

My daughter calls my early-fifties-and-in-denial mother Granmum. My Mum came up with it, decided it sounded less 'old' than Grandma.
Mamie is fairly traditional.
What's her first name? You can usually make something with that. all my friends called my grandmother Gran-Vi. Her name is Violet. My other Grandmother, named Jean, was known as Ma Jean.
There are loads out there! My daughter is lucky enough to have two grandmothers and three great grandmothers, so we have to have something to differentiate between them!
We have Gran-Vi, Ma-Jean, Grandma Joan, Granmum and Grandma. Can't imagine if they were all called the same!!
Congrats on the grand-baby!

I became a grandmother a the ripe old age of 44, I didn't want to be called something for a old grandmother either so I came up with the name of NANA. Everyone liked it so much, that my younger sister is now called NANA. I hope this works for you.

My mum's friends refused point blank to acknowledge that she was a grandmother and insisted her granchildren called her by her given name which I thought was actually quite sad my mum loves being called Granny.
You could have Nana, Nonna, Gramma, Grammy there are many variations or make something up yourself. My kids call their grat grandparents GG and GN cause its easier that Great Grandad etc.

Nonza. That is what I call my grandmother, because she is super cool, even at 65+. She loves it.
