They tell me its impossible, i do it and prove its not. Now i have another goal in mind.. they tell me i better not pursue it, you cant do it, blah blah. Then when I say im going to they get angry. I feel like I 'better stay in line' as to not upset them, if I go for it they will be angry. Why are some people so negative when you want to achieve what they call ''the impossible'' even though its not. Why wouldnt they say go for it and be positive and happy? Why try to deter me?

its jealousy they think ur trying to steal all the fame, or be a show off. "firmness is good for everything, struting is good for nothing" here is a quote from Alex Hamilton. Though it really depends when u achieve the impossible do u rub it in there face or do just be proud of yourself. Cause show offs can make people angry and it just makes people annoyed with that person.

maybe you are just telling the wrong people.
don't blame them. if you don't want to hear negative comments, then don't tell those people any more. don't worry about them getting angry. if you don't tell them your goals, they won't be angry. tell your teachers or youth group leaders or professors. tell people that will be supportive if you need that. tell others at your caliber/level. but in the end i think you are too worried about the responses of others. why would that matter to your goal? just do it.
