I live in Australia and am very interested in buying a 60 or 80gb PS3. If I bought 1 from America, would I be able to use all the features of the PS3 in Australia or would there be some problems?

PS3 games are region free, so you'll be able to play PAL PS3 games, but PS1/2 games and movies aren't region free. Also (if you plan to plug your PS3 into standard TV) make sure, that your TV is multizone (supports NTSC signal). You'll need a good (500W) power converter. You won't have an official warranty in Australia.
