In facts cats (kittens) can catch a cold from us, but we dont get any colds from them.
Kittens however should have a better immune system preventing them from catching your colds unless youd like sneeze on them.
The funny noise is typical for the 13 weeks old because in these situations it misses its mom and companions.

some people just like to rag on others, but try not to pay attention to them. they can't help that they're so annoying...
to answer about colds: no, you certainly cannot pass a virus back & forth between your pets & your family. the cold virus is species-specific, meaning it can only be given to another animal of the same kind. one of the few exceptions to this rule is the ferret, which can catch the flu from humans. (unless the virus mutates, but that's an awfully big chasm to jump for a mutating cold...cat and human physiology are very very different things to a virus.) so rest assured, this is one thing your cat cannot get nor give to you.
as for the baby boy: he's probably just making the noise in play (everything is a game to them at that age), the same way most toddler children whoop & holler when they're running along. he's practicing his killer instincts with his playmate, and with young'uns, it generally comes out in the form of growls & squeaks & weird little noises. watch his patterns in the litter box, though - growling in the litter box could be a sign of trouble with peeing, so keep an eye on him to make sure he's not straining or yowling there. however, it's much more likely that he just sees that as one more place to play and establish it as his area, especially if there is another kitty around. i love them at that age, simply because they see the world as one big thing to conquer, and that's just fun to watch. have fun with them...*sigh* they grow up so fast.

Boy, the vicious people were out on this question. It's possible, but not probable that you could give your kitten a cold. They would have to be very low and ill.
The little boy is having his voice change. It is so funny to watch them try to growl !! As for the toilet growling, it is probably a territory marking behavior.

I highly recommend both you and your pets strengthen your immune systems. This can easily be accomplished by raising your Glutathione levels using a nutraceutical called Immunocal.
Immunocal is not a drug, but a nutritional supplement clinically proven to raise cellular glutathione levels and is regarded as not having the side effects of a drug. This allows it to be added safely to a person's or pets diet.
Many, many people who have chronic medical conditions have added Immunocal to their diets and have been extremely satisfied with their results.
There are many claims being made for glutathione supplementation.
Chronic conditions that are caused or result in oxidative stress or inflammation have had dramatic improvements when glutathione levels in the cells are raised. These conditions range from respiratory issues, auto-immune disorders, suppressed immune system, and urodegenerative disorders to cancer and cardiovascular disease.

Good health to you and your pets!

Some cats trill instead of meowing. Our cat does, he's Maine Coon. At first it was a squeak lol
Maine Coons are known to do this. He does it most when he wants to play. It's almost like a questioning sound.

although you think that we are all just animals, humans and cats can not catch each others colds...
your little kitten is probably just exploring and is new to the game of life...
my kittens did the same thing when they were little and they grew out of it...
it's just like how a baby speeks jibberish for the first year or so of their life...
