I just had to respond to this, even though I am not a Christian and I hope you will forgive me.

I'm a pantheist (recently discovered! Witch, and I love and revere the Earth. The responses you got from Christians were appalling, to be sure, but not surprising. They have no room for the idea that anything is as sacred as their own notions about their own god, and nothing else is allowed to play in their play pens.

Our Mother Earth is precious, She is sacred, and She is the Mother of everything we know here, including all the ideas and advances created by homo sapiens, AND including, unfortunately, all the boneheaded ideas that have been created too, like religion.

There's room in Christianity for everything that exist. Everything has its place; even evil.

Mother Earth is as Mother nature a name given to something created by the Almighty Creator. It is part of life; it is part of Christianity.

We must share this lifeboat EARTH, so we of various faiths, and even unbelievers, can find common ground on the issues, and show brotherly love making it better for our beloved children.

The Bible says God gave us dominion over the earth, but it seems that we gave that dominion over to the enemy of God, called "the prince of this world" and "the father of all lies".

We honour God by being good stewards of the one and only planet He gave us to work with.

Christ is God. there is not something that would evaluate to the trinity because of the fact their isn't the rest like it. that's God. It takes faith to have faith the trinity, merely because it takes faith to have faith that jesus died for our sin and if we have faith him we are in a place to have eternal existence. John a million:a million: in the beginning up replaced into the be conscious, and the be conscious replaced into with God, and the be conscious replaced into God. John a million:2: an analogous replaced into in the beginning up with God. John a million:3: All issues have been made by potential of him; and devoid of him replaced into not any difficulty made that replaced into made. John a million:4: In him replaced into existence; and the existence replaced into the gentle of adult males.

Eve was called mother of the earth.I guess some would differ on that Mary was the mother of earth as Jesus mother she became mother of all ,man kind. And God is the Father of all mankind. Father sky. Indians believe there is a connection with all living things. Mother earth,Father Sky ,In reality what they believed so long ago really wasn`t that different then what we believe today.

Oh yes, by all means. We're supposed to be stewards of the earth, meaning we are to treat this lovely planet well and take care of her--not use her until she can't take anymore. To me taking care of the planet is an important part of my theology.

the implication here is that we are as the animals and are made from the dust of the Earth. The bible also makes this claim but that GOD has made us from the dust of the Earth.

Every person can be born twice. Once from their mother's womb, and a person can be BORN AGAIN IN THE HOLY SPIRIT . ..

and every person can die twice . .. once of the flesh, but the second death is separation from GOD . .. if we are in CHRIST JESUS we have the promise of being raised up on the last day . ..

Since we are more than animals, but beings which pray and believe in GOD . .. we say we have ONE FATHER, GOD OUR FATHER . .. and we have ONE MOTHER . .. MOTHER MARY . .. We are part of the Earth and above the animals having dominion over nature and all the Earth as GOD has given it to mankind . .. without the ecosystem of the Earth the flesh dies . ..

By the same token we need GOD that we shall LIVE ETERNALLY . ..

We ought to understand then we are not to worship the Earth nor are considering the Earth created us . .. but GOD CREATED us . .. which is why we do not say "Mother Earth" . .. but say FATHER GOD WHO CREATED US . ..

OUR FATHER . ..

LOVE your neighbor as yourself . ..

I respect earth as our home, and understand that her elements are vital to life as we know it. From her rivers and streams, to her fertile soil, her plains and jungels, she is valuable. I view her as one of the most wonderful pieces of His creation. She is grand yet she is just a footstool to God.........Had He wished to do so, He could have put us elsewhere. As part of His creation, she is not to be worshipped; respected and appreciated, yes, but not worshipped.

NO! First, Earth is a very small part of the total Creation.
We refer to G*D the Creator as Father of Jesus & us.

there is no room in the Bible for Mother Earth, so I guess I would have to say "no"
