I think it's hilarious! You couldn't make this stuff up. Brit and Jamie Lynn's mom writing a parenting book? And selling it to a Christian Publishing House? Roflmao!

Which raises the question of whether the delay is because of the Publisher's dismay at Jamie Lynn's pregnancy--or whether Abstinence Only Sex Education plays a big role in Momma Lynn's Parenting Strategy.

Look, far be it from me to pass moral judgement on women's sex lives--but Brit and Jamie could have both shown a bit more Common Sense and Responsibility, to go along with those Christian Values momma Lynn taught them.

Edit: Just noticed your screen name and I couldn't resist:

why would you be disappointed?
does anyone want to end up with daughters like Britney and Jaimie Lynn?
If anything I'm glad that no parent will ever take advice from the woman with two messed up daughters (one more so than the other)
Someone who can't parent her own children should not be writing books and advising other parents!
simple pimple

Hahahahahaha!

Funny thing is, I live a few hours north of where they grew up. It's in a border area of Mississippi and Louisiana and EVERYBODY is named Spears in each county and parish.

They must be the chosen people.

How else could a stage mom emerge from a town that boasts a junkyard atop a hill as you drive past on the interstate?

want to know what im disappointed in? that her 16 year old daughter is following in her sister's footsteps and is pregnant. come ON!!! it's not like they're poor and can't afford BIRTH CONTROL! Why the hell is she having sex at that age anyways? What does THAT say about Lynn Spear's parenting skills?

What??? why are you disappointed? what could Lynn Spears tell any body about parenting? she has not done a very good job with her own girls, I certainly wouldn't take any advice from her.

I can't even believe that a publishing house out there would really believe she's an authority on good parenting. Who on earth would read that book? I guess if you equate good parenting with pushing your minor children into a lifestyle that is rife with promiscuity and immorality, she should get parent of the year, then.

Um, yeah, like anyone really cared about her parenting book. Most people who wanted to buy it (if there even are any) probably just wanted to get it in order to make fun of it and point at her daughters to see where she didn't follow her own advice.
As for me, I couldn't care less about her or her parenting book.

If Lynn is Britney's mom, I think it's a good idea to shelve it.

Uhm. Nope.
I can take parenting advice from most people, but I don't think I'd seriously consider parenting advice from any of the Spears.
