Why do you make fun of the Holocaust??

Question

I have seen so many people answer questions saying "heil hitler" or other things like that. It's disgusting! 6 million Jews and many other people were killed by this hitler you're talking about! don't even say that as a joke!! if you're a person who does this, please tell me why. I'de really like to know where you got your sense of humor from.

i'm trying to get the point across to people who do it.

I did not leave out that a lot of people other than Jews died.

I served a tour in Germany in the late 80's and was able to visit a concentration camp. I will take that memory with me to my grave. There was nothing funny about what I had seen or anything funny about ignorant, rude, cruel, vile comments that immature fools like to say about what happened there.

It's kids whose parents were not alive at that time. My mother describes to me the horror she felt seeing the newsreels in the movie theaters at the end of the war.

The interesting human angle to this is Hank Greenberg, who fought in the Pacific, was the first openly Jewish baseball player and a big star. He returned from the war an atheist.

Well six million Jews killed is horrible and this seems to continue to receive all the historical sympathy and press. But, there were over 20 million Russians killed and 20 million Chinese killed during the same war.

It is strange what tunnel vision people get. Hitler got Germany out of a depression the same way FDR did, by starting a war. They both should have been hung. The pope bankrolled Hitler, or he would not have gotten anywhere. He was a nasty pervert, and caused a lot of people to die. As far as I am concerned, the jury is still out on the 6 million question, though He killed a lot of Jews, and I'm not sure why the 6 million number is really important.

Because some people have no respect for such horrors. I get angry when people do this....My grandmother was a young girl in Nazi Poland, her best friend was a Jew and didn't make it to tell her story. It hurts me to see people do this!

its not funny to make things like that appear as a joke. but i think some people don't take the holocaust to be as big an issue as the other atrocities goin on in the world. more people have died in africa than in the holocaust, and i know some people who get pissed that people make a huge deal out of the holocaust but dont' consider the other horrible crimes happening in the world that may be affecting more people.

Its disgusting and it angers me so much, I cant even describe how sick i feel inside when i c people do this. Its not funny, there is absolutly nothing funny about anything that happened, when people laugh about it, or make jokes i almost wanna put them in a concentration camp. IM SO MAD!!! :(

Historians say, that about 50 million people were killed in that war, and you only heard about 6 million Jews!!!. A murder is a murder regardless of the number , and no jokes should be made about it. Saying this, we could only say, that many historians proved that the number was exaggerated to a great extent. There so many questions on the number and why we only should care about the Jews, they are humans just like the others who lost their lives in that bloody war. Read more if you are so much interested, for me , I stopped reading about it a long time ago.
