Just because someone steals their friend's wife, fires fellow musicians for being messed up on drugs and alcohol at the same time your messed up, puts out some of the worst music when teamed up with Phil Collins especially after quitting the Yardbirds because they were too pop, etc does not make one a ****. He has done some good with the Crossroad Center and the Crossroads Guitar Festival. And just hearing things like the last guitar solo in Let It Rain is enough to forgive him of a few lapses in judgement.

this is a slave era song and many people have covered it. Van Morrison does a great version and I like Eric Clapton's take on it too. I dont get what your beef is? Dont like the song or dont like Clapton??
