We just found out that my sister, who is 5 years old, has a large tumor that is attached to her back. She will be seeing a doctor tomorrow morning to go into more detail about it. I was just wondering what you people know about this and what treatments you know about.

This isn't her first. She was born with brain cancer and went through strong Chemo which shrunk the tumor and she has been cancer free for almost 5 years, (it would be 5 years this Feburary.) Please say a prayer for my sister, her name is HOPE.

Although I agree with everone else saying that it's wrong to judge the whole nation on the action of two, disturbed little boys. I have to say that from my own experience young people in Britain seem to be much worse than, 5 or more years ago. Is it because we have things like newsapers, the television and radio showing us what's going on around us? No cos these thing are how old? From my Personal experience i have seen things that I would never have seen a few years ago. I think that people need to look at what might be causing children to behave this way. Why is it on the increase and what could have changed in the past few years, to make things worse in Britain.

Depending on where the tumor is they might be able to remove it. If it is on her sinal cord though they won't be able to. And then there is always chemo. You said that the tumor is large so let's hope it is not in stage 4. Sorry hope this turns out well.

God bless your little sister. She is such a baby to have to go through this kind of life. Did you know that cancer cannot survive in an alkaline environment? Evidently your little sister has a very acid environment and I understand that can be changed.

There is a Japanese tea called Kombucha. It is very expensive but let me tell you, I'm a believer. I have been taking it because it's also good to maintain your sugar balance and your weight. I started drinking it (ugh! it tastes awful) but I got use to it. I lost 21 lbs, lowered my cholesterol 16 points and when I went for my mammogram, they found 2 lumps and both were benign.

I don't know if it's because of the kombucha but, it claims to change the body chemistry, and something that could have been very bad, turned out to be nothing at all. It's worth a try, isn't it? She won't like the flavor, but just disguise it in fruit juice.

Here's to Hope's very long life.
