I am a female and want to join the Army, I cannot decide between a Military Police or a Medical education. I am 22, I am willing to dedicate 4-6 years of life and am willing to travel to Iraq (yeah I know I will end up doing it anyways!) I want my military education to transfer into a civilian world. Waht do you suggest, medical or law enforcment?

I like medical. This way you will have some skills that you can use once you are out of the army. I give you a lot of credit for wanting to serve your country. you are the best.

you will have to reclass I don't think MP units have a nutrition care MOS's I could be wrong because MP battalions have a lot of unusual things for detainee support. depending on your unit you might be able to do a direct transfer to the unit and then change MOS's while your there or you can wait for your new contract and change then. If you plan on becoming a police office my suggestion is that you do not become a MP. They have to completely retrain you to become a civilian police officer.

I strongl;y suggest you go into the Medical Corps, makes it easier for you to transition into a nursing career after you get out of the military.

What ever YOU want.

You can do allot in both jobs.

Military Police is not all police cars there is allot of field time.

Same with Medical it's not all hospital.

Both are good for jobs on the outside

Good Luck

As a female, it is better that you take a medical course and apply in the Armed Forces so that you will assigned in the Medical Corps which is a female-friendly job.

Future and present while in you would be better off in the medical field. Besides military people like te doc's more ten MP's and you'd get treated better.

The choice is yours, my advice would be medical field.

Of course again that would be totally up to you.

Most of all though I thank you for your future service to our great country.

The better question is which would you rather do? You will probably find work doing either. With the aging baby boomers medicine is probably a sure bet.
