I'm a teenager and I'm under depression, at least, from how I feel and what I've read about depression symptoms, I have depression. But I'm not comfortable talking to my parents about this, and my friends arent' reacting well to this either. Who do I ask for help from without my parents knowing?
It's hard and frustrating, and I feel worse everyday. I don't want help, I just want to talk to someone.
I have thoughts of suicide, and I don't want the attention of a therapist, that'll just motivate me more...
And my personality doesn't let other's convince me so easily, so suicide will be on my to do list for quite a while, but I want to talk to someone without causing much attention and my parents finding out

You're asking contracdictory things. You're asking who to talk to, and you're depressed to the point of what's called "suicidal ideation (glamorizing, or at least desiring suicide)" but you don't want the attention of a therapist.
Honestly, a therapist is what you need to get through this. I've been here, it works. There are different levels, from school counselors to social workers to psychologists. You don't need a psychiatrist - they deal with organic mental problems and so forth, but a psychologist would do a lot for you. Maybe even just a social worker. Also understand that the communcation you create is important and although most of the time it works, if, on the few times it doesn't, don't be afraid to look for someone else. Therapists are like anyone else - you have to find someone you like talking to.
Don't be afraid of "therapy" - it can be one session or a hundred. It depends on what you need. It's just talking, and it doesn't mean you're nuts. And if you write it off, there's not any other answers we can give you.
Give it a try. Maybe it's your school counselor, maybe someone else, but ask. I'm glad you asked here.
I'm not in a good place myself right at the moment. I have learned, however, that these options don't hurt. Go for it.

Typically thoughts of suicide are indicative of depression. This is very serious and you need help, right now. You should tell your parents.
If you can't do that, then talk to your guidance counselor.
If you can't do that, call the toll free depression hotline 1-800-784-2433
If you can't do that, then make up some reason to have your parents take you to the doctor, tell them that you have had a soar throat for a few days, and then tell the doctor that you are feeling depressed, or slip the doctor a note.
But you need help and right now.

Suicide isn't an option. It shouldn't be on your list. It's good that you're stubborn. Find someone you know will listen and someone you can really trust. It doesn't need to be your parents; friends, or a therapists. Some times talking to a stranger who doesn't know you helps.

if you try suicide that will just make your family and friends feel about 500% worse and then they would have to think of that their whole life and feel that it was their fault that they couldnt help you. honestly you just need to open up to someone. i know im a teenager too and ive gone through that but suicide is the worst possible thing you can do. maybe talk to your school councilor.

I do suggest talking to your parents as you would be suprised at what parents do for there kids, being a mother myself i would want you to tell me absolutely anything & i would want to help you through it. if you think you cant then i always went & bought myself a blank book or diary & wrote my feelings down & would write like eg: what am i afraid of or whatever was bothering me & try to come up with an answer believe it works but if you are that bad I will suggest you also go see your local doctor & dont be afraid no one will judge you they are there to help. try beyond blue website its an australian website but it may be able to help. good luck

Call a suicide hotline and talk with someone who is trained to work with you, make sure you keep in mind that your feelings are temporary in what can be a long and great life. You can also talk with your doctor during an appointment for something else, but please seek someone and realize that you can get help and feel better.

hey i know we dnt know each other but i'll gladly listen to your problems via IM or email...whichever...dont commit suicide...its not worth it...everyone goes through hard times [at least i'm guessing that's whats going on in your life], but u gotta be strong...being a teenager is very hard. i know. but again, dnt consider taking your life an option to make the pain go away or solve your issues. believe it or not, there's someone who looks up to you, even if you're young..you be letting them down and more importantly letting yourself down.an if you want to talk to someone in person about whatever's bothering you, try going to your guidance counselor...ask them to keep it confidential.

your guidance counselor at school could help, but they could just make it worse ! if they ask about your suicide thoughts and they think you're a serious threat to yourself they might Baker Act you and send you to some institution to be evaluated. bleh, if anything there's a great depression/ bi-polar group on myspace that can definantly relate with you and some cool people to vent out to....
