It says "The vaccine can be stored at room temperature for up to two weeks on one occasion only. AFTER RECONSTITUTION THE VACCINE SHOULD BE USED WITHIN 2 HOURS."
What does the latter part mean? i.e. 'after reconstitution'. I had it in the fridge for 2 days, then in my suitcase and on the plane for 16 hours, then in the fridge after that. Is the medicine still good?

RECONSTITUTION as mentioned refers to mixing the vaccine with the other required components before taking it.

As the vaccine is taken by mouth, you need to dissolve the GRANULES in a glass of COOL water (approx 150ml) and the VACCINE suspension added.(That process of mixing is reconstitution).

The mixture you made SHOULD be taken WITHIN TWO HOURS. That is the entire meaning of "AFTER RECONSTITUTION THE VACCINE SHOULD BE USED WITHIN 2 HOURS".

The vaccine suspension that you had UNMIXED with anything would be still good for 2 weeks at room temperature. However, once mixed up, it has to be taken in 2 hours time and won't be as effective if taken more than that specified period.

Important also to know that you MUST avoid food, drink and taking any other medicines by mouth for AN HOUR BEFORE and AN HOUR AFTER taking the vaccine, as this may make the vaccine less effective.Such vaccine does not guarantee 100% protection from CHOLERA so you must be careful always with whatever you eat and drink.
