I already have a singing career and am 13. People always told me that I would never make it and to not waste my time. Now, I go back to them and say '' Look at me, the girl who would never make it" I am a professional actress, singer, dancer, model. People didn't want to see me get hurt even though I had / have a lot of potenital. Go to Holly wood and audtion. I live there and have auds ALL the time.

DONT listen to the parson 2 posts above me, you would not get nominated for a grammy and then only get a lead. You would be famous!

I started my career at age 4, but have been singing since I was 2.

get a singing coach and they will help you get auditions and stuff.

At thirteen, Its really hard but if you live near New York City, There is a musical called "Thirteen" that consist of all teenagers in the cast and band. If you find when they are auditioning that would be an awesome place to start your singing career!

I don't really know what to do except to just keep trying and maybe if your parents will drive you down to a different city to sing in their choir or something. But whatever you do it is possible to be a singer. I got nominated for a Grammy at your age and a year later (now) I am in the top choir at my school and was a lead role in my musical. Maybe you could get involved with your school choir/drama program

Well, put a video up on youtube and we will give you a realistic assessment of your chances..

I am surprised at the number of people who think they can sing but cannot.

If your parents are with you on this and if they can afford a voice coach, get one. Search online or the phone book in your area.

This way you will be starting on the right path. Practice, Practice then practice more.

Good Luck

uh, well...i wouldnt get too ahead of your self there big guy. get through school...when applying to universitys/college (stright a student right?) apply for music...specifically vocal programs, there are tons.

if you want to do it the ol'fashioned way you need to get yourself out into the public...get people saying your name. you're too young to be playing at bars and that though. do you have accompanyment? i highly suggest the first option i mentioned...wait it out. use this time to practice sand refine your talent.
