uhh, i think it's actually illegal for them to be dating
she's not 18 yet
so, uh, you could turn him in for being some kind of pedophile?

She needs to wait until she's 18. If he's 21 he could be charged with statutory rape because by law she is still a child, even though the age of consent to having sex in most states is 16.
17-year-olds don't see themselves as children any more and feel they are 10 feet tall and bulletproof.
Sit down with her and discuss your fealings about this as adults. Hopefully she will see it your way.
For some reason now days all the nice girls are going out with all the bad boys.

Absolutely not. I would definitely stop my sister from moving in with a guy at 17. She is too young to be focusing on living with her boyfriend it not appropriate. You need to sit her down and try and get through to her and make her see reason. She young, irrational and impulsive...so you gotta step up and be the older and understanding sister that makes her see sense. I've been there and I'm still doing it.

I doubt you can legally stop her from going. Tell her straight up that you want her to wait until you know for sure she is on some form a birth control, and if this is really what she wants. She will do what she wants, she wants to find someone to love her because her mother doesn't care and she just needs someone to call her own.

do you have guardianship of your sister? is 17 the legal "adult" age in your state?
i guess there are a few things to consider.
many girls pick out douche bags for boyfriends. i'm not sure if you can control what she does.
if it were me, i'd just let her do it... live, learn.
take care.

For me i think it's cute but honestly i don't care but when certain stuff starts happening the most likely the law might frown upon it

If you suspect they are having sex, I would call the police and have him arrested to statutory rape. She might hate you now, but she will thank you later.
Do you have guardianship? If so, you can prevent it legally. If not, you should probably send her home to your mom's, because you don't really have any legal rights.

Well, if they're having sex, that could be illegal, depending on what state you're in. Check it out if you want to go that far.
