This sounds like an urban legend. I couldn't find anything on the internet to back this up. If anything your taste would change of the drink using artificial sweeteners.
Common sense is that before you drink you should have a full stomach so you can obsorb the alcohol. In that respect and i don't really recommend it don't eat before drinking. Of course do not drink and drive and drink responsibly.

no, the sweetener has no effect on the time lapsed between consumption and the initial effects on the brain. Carbonation does expedite this process however which is where "beer before liquor, never sicker" comes from because the residual carbonation from the beer can cause the more potent drinks to pass through your system faster!

Carbonated drinks make you absorb alcohol faster than if they're mixed with water or fruit juice. I don't think it has anything to do with the sweetener, it's the carbonation.

baby if u mix any sweet things with alcohol it will make u drink early as alcohol is made from simple sugar and when enzyme is added sugar is converted to alcohol............so adding sugar or anything sweet to your drink make you go drunk early and also if u clash the properties of different alcohol or i mean mix.... for example if u have a rum then vodka then rum and then vodka it will give u 200% more effect drink same quantity of one drink...........u can check out books on alcohol...American association of hotel and hospital administration....
OR bar and beverage guide by any bar tender....

I don't think so. Also, why would you want to get drunk faster. Enjoy yourself for as long as you can so its not a sloppy drunk. Out here, its about who can drink for the longest without being all..... loud, and crazy and puking and obnoxious. Pace yourself, know your limits.

No. Alcohol absorption is not influenced by artifical sweeteners.
