I need my ham to be done by 12:00 on Christmas day for lunch. I have a roaster oven that I want to cook it in. What temp should I set it on to cook the ham so it will done by 12:00? I really don't want to have to be in the kitchen with it early in the morning because the kids will wake up and I don't want to miss the presents. Oh, my ham was given to my husband at work and is not precooked at all.

Cover the bottom of a roasting pan with aluminum foil. Bake ham at 250° for 1 hour. Reduce the heat to 175° and roast another 12-15 hours. This is great because you can put in the oven overnight and it will be ready the next day for the noon meal. The cooking time can go for longer if needed to fit your schedule since it is at such a low temperature.

It can be cooked overnight in an oven, but it would have to be fairly big. If it takes three hours at 350 degrees, it will take about 6 hours at 155 degrees.(you have to cook above 145 degrees).

200 all night in an electric roaster is the best
I like to smear equal parts of regular yeller mustard, coca cola ,and honey all together with some cayenne pepper to taste. Let that ham kick all night long. Excellent!!!!
