you do much of the evidence has been faked? a court has found that Al Gores movie was filled with lies. and most important science has showed that the carbon levels rise after global heating not before. there are scientist disagree with the theory with an arm fill of evidence to support them.
wow only 11 inaccracies out of 20 points . not to bad and you really look at that website if you think it agrees with what people
that says we are to blame. the hottest years date back to before cars. global warming crowd just has the media on it side using it as a sledge hammer.

There are no mountains of evidence, there are mountains of assumptions and theories. The logic supporting them is what is flawed. The theories state that the climate is getting warmer and that CO2 levels in the atmosphere are rising.
Let's just assume that those two statements are fact, although I don't believe they are.
How does this prove anything? Could the rising temperatures be causing the rise CO2?
The whole argument assumes that temp and CO2 are the only variables in the equation. What about the other variables, such as solar radiation. It's just as likely as anything in the equation to be the cause. An increase in solar radiation would easily explain an increase in temperatures.
There are a host of other variables that aren't considered.
If we are to believe that increased CO2 levels are causing a warming in climate then we have to assume all other variables are constant. That assumption is just absurd.

Let us assume it is real. What do we about it. Gasoline from corn does not solve the problem. There have been great advance in batteries lately. Now if your car runs on batteries and you recharge your batteries with electricity from a nuclear power plant, walla, no global warming. If you recharge with electricity from a plant belching coal or oil smoke that contributes to global warming. The lefties in America have not allowed a new nuke plant in decades while the lefties in France now lead the world in nuclear power. I have not heard of a single French citizen being harmed by the nukes. P.S. The Global Warming prophet, Al Gore lives in a monster house. Ditto for global warming/save the planet movie stars. The height of hypocracy.

I agree that there is substantial data to support the theory that there is a global warming effect, and at least part of it is the result of human activity.
however, the predictions on the effect of global warming on the climate vary very much, and the range of prediction goes from minor effects that will take a long time to major, catastrophic effects very soon.
another topic of global discussion is how much needs to be done, and who shall carry a greater part of that burden.
but the general trend is towards some action, and with time and more data, I believe the actions would become more focused and substantial.
of course, it would be more convincing if, instead of mountains of evidence, we had oceans of evidence, flooding the earth, as the predictors of global warming foresee.

If Al Gore's documentary was a real, researched, factual, movie. It would have been aired on television first and then went on to video if it was considered salable. He starts his film by preying upon all the people that hate George Bush in order to gain their confidence and then spins his web of deceit.
If you have any interest in facts, go to youtube and search for "Global warming swindle". It is a program countering Al's b.s.. It is in 8 parts, about 2 hours long. Then find everything you can on the subject that is presented by real scientists. Not Environmentalists!!! Then investigate Al Gore to see how much money he has made traveling the continent giving speeches for no reason because they could have just watched the film. He burnt more fuel in one trip flying, than I will driving, during my entire life.

you are right. it seems that they don't think LOGICALLY. i'm impressed with them, they were able to show evidences that global warming is not a real problem. you know, that is really life. there are protagonists and antagonists.

Just as there are mountains of data so are there mountains of BS. Bush's "leave no idiot behind" education plan guarantees that many more people are graduating highschool without the knowledge or academic skill to determine the difference between reality and BS.
A standard fascist method of maintaining control over the populus.

Global warming is happening, there is a campaign to surpress the findings, and the people are dumb enough to side with the corporate think tanks that are trying to mislead them.
The BBC report documenting the attempt to stifle scientific research: http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/programmes/panorama/5005994.stm
btw, I am American, and it annoys me to witness how gullible my fellow citizens are; really, what do we have to loose if we curb or dependance on foreign oil anyway?

I have actually seen very little evidence that global warming is much of a problem, or that is likely to be in the future. By evidence, I mean real, hard, observable scientific facts, not Hollywood movies made by failed politicians or pronouncements of UN bureaucrats.
Gengi, like I said, real, hard, observable scientific facts that global warming (which I will concede is occurring either naturally or due to human activities) presents a problem. Most rational projections indicate that it is going to be at most an inconvenience.
