Could this be the reason?

The reason why you cannot see what is wrong with you is because of your emotional state. If your intent is pure, you will realize that blinding anger has prevent you from doing what is right and good. Is that how you lost your common sense?

What say you all?

The good are ready and "ripe" for salvation. When anger is seen to be the basis of all your dilemmas you will "get it" It will be as though you were "revived" and have instantaneously learned the entire Bible in a lightning flash.
The reason for this would be that you never were really in agreement with all the emotions and confusions that makes all the rest blind to reality and COMMON SENSE???

What say you all?

(PS - Bother...don't try this number on me ..it won't work. Projecting and smearing and accusing others what you yourself are is all used and worn out - try others tactics please?)

This blindness- anger and not using your common sense, render you incapable of acting out your common sense and conscience even though you have one.
On the other hand, if you continue to be angrily blinded by rage, (especially at me for telling you the Truth), you do so because you are in agreement with its purpose of keeping you from seeing reality ! Just remember there is a author behind your anger and blindness and not using your common sense and conscience the right way.

Now, are you still angry at me and prevent yourselves from using your common sense ?

What say you all ?

I do use common sense, which is why I question the things that I do.

I'd have to say that most people I know would say I am a good person, that I do use common sense, which is apparently not as common as I thought, and that I do what is right, even when it is difficult. Evidently, what I believe (or rather what strikes me as utter nonsense) has no bearing on those things.

Well Mr. Paine, common sense is a necessary burden. People in general prefer acting before thinking.

Nothing wrong with my common sense, I could ask you the same thing. Questions like this are so used up, and abused, down right boring, can't you come up with something more original?

Firstly, common sense is not all that common. Secondly, people base their acts of common sense on what they believe to true. What you may deem common, I may not.

I DONT UNDERSTAND YOUR QUESTION. WITH ALL DUE RESPECT IT SOUNDS LIKE YOUR ON THE EMOTIONAL SIDE. AND WHAT IS COMMON SENSE, ANY WAY.
WHO NEEDS IT I HAVE GOT SOMETHING BETTER. AND HE IS THE ONE WHO PUT THE SPIRIT OF DISCERNMENT IN ME. THE HOLY SPIRIT CONVICTS MY HEART AND LETS ME KNOW WHEN I AM DOING SOMETHING WRONG. YOU CAN KEEP YOUR SENSE TO YOURSELF.....BUT IT YOU WANT TO KNOW THE TRUTH WE CAN TALK.

I almost thought your question was thoughtful and intelligent, until I saw the "salvation" part.

Then I knew you were just another ignorant fundie.
