if your mother is Jewish, and your father is Christian, what are you considered to be? and don't answer "mixed" because I'm wondering which of the two specifically

If your mother is Jewish, then by birth you are a Jew according to Torah law.

Carlie, their choice of worship is theirs! As an older girl, you need to make this decision for yourself! Noone, but God can guide you to where you can most serve HIM!

Please pray and ask God to guide you as people will try to sway you but, God knows best and I would want HIS will for me, in my life...not others! In fact, my Dad was a minister/pastor of a church. As an adult, I studied other religions and visited. I am so happy I did as I found a church which was as though...I should have been there all along! I desire this for you too!

Culturally, you are considered Jewish. If it was reverse, you would not be Jewish. It's matrilinear in Judaism.

This is going to sound corny, but search your heart. Learn about both religions and see if either of them seem like they make sense to you. You might decide neither does, but find out as much as possible about both. I hope you find your answer.
